Procrastinate tomorrow!

Hi folks! It took me 15 minutes to get this post started after keying the last line. I really have no clue what I want to convey here & what I'll end up writing about, but I have few reasons for "Why I am writing it now?"

Ans: PROCRASTINATION {(noun) [verb Procrastinate- "to delay or postpone things]}

Sometimes in life, well actually MOST of the times in our lives we keep waiting for the right moments, the right thoughts, the right words, to start something, to do something, to say something, and in the search of these RIGHTS we find one day that nothing is left anymore to say, anymore to do, anywhere to be, in the search of the "right" moment, we have no more moments "left" in our lives.

Procrastination is like an addiction , which u want to get rid of but tomorrow. (this is based on a true story-"mine")

So finally  after quite a long haul from writing, I'm back with some mind-mint to refresh my thoughts and hopefully yours too.

Procrastination is not a new gene in us, and also it is not a trait which one can find only in insignificant people , and lousy loosers around us, or in the the person who we see in the mirror everymorning we wake up. Unfortunately procastination is what has led to all the man-made havoc around us. It's the procrastination of taking a stringent action against corrupt politicians, procrastination of taking decisive action against the ghastly acts of terror in the country for past 60 years which has led to the loss of innumerable innocent lives, and dismantled the economy of our country, these are not the by-products of procrastination but the direct consequences which we fail to understand or sometime just procrastinate for another day to think on it. Even when as I write this I can hear the voices of self-servicing politicians, air-time hungry celebrities and TRP deprived media making big talks of what COULD have been done, what SHOULD be done, and when I try to look for just one simple answer for a question i.e " When will all this be done"?, I never hear the word NOW..."right now".

Someone once said that "Procrastination is like masturbation, It's fun until you realize you just screwed yourself". We keep delaying meetings, reports, business communications just to realize one fine moment that in how much mess we got ourselves in. We keep pushing the dates to call a dear friend, to meet our parents, take our kids to toy store, buying a gift for our wives just to feel sorry one day when we find that they are not there and we grieve about how we COULD have and SHOULD have found time for all the things we wanted to do for them.

I have decided that from NOW on I won't procrastinate anything that can and should be done today for tomorrow. I hope this little change in the attitude of each of us brings a change in the way our country acts, and instead of "Procrastinating things, the politicians , the diplomats, the bureaucrats and every fellow Indian becomes "PROACTIVE"

And sometimes old habbits die hard so I've also decided that I'll Procrastinate....but tomorrow not today! Every today I will try to be as proactive as one can be!
